CROSS Recovery is a ministry of Calvary Temple Worship Center designed to provide a safe environment for individuals struggling to overcome life-controlling problems. We offer biblically-based encouragement, guidance, instruction and fellowship to those seeking to gain deliverance and increase God’s blessings in their lives.
Purpose
During life’s pains, hurts and trials, many of us have turned to sin. These sins include substance abuse, same-gender attraction, anger, sexual addictions, physical/emotional abuse, eating disorders, and codependency. Through the saving grace of Christ, we have the power at work in us to resist wrong behaviors through our faith in Christ.
If you are receptive, God can renew your soul, removing the demons that cripple your life as He is a God who, despite your past, never gives up on you. When you repent and turn to God, your past failures will be destroyed. You are valuable to God and He will not hold back His blessings. It is with God’s grace that you are lifted to success.

Vision
To help individuals and families overcome life-controlling problems by using the Word of God and The CROSS Recovery Keys. The CROSS Recovery Keys are a series of biblically-based, Christ-centered curriculum designed to develop meaning, vision, and purpose for living a healthy, spiritual life in Christ. CROSS Recovery also utilizes weekly recovery worship, teachings, and the altar for salvation of lost souls followed by Christ-centered Process Groups working to eliminate the hurts, pain, and scars that plague us. The core leadership team consists of volunteer Christians in recovery. CROSS Recovery strives to return this nation to the moral values it was founded upon and to break the cycle of addictions manifested due to lack of knowledge and application of biblical principles.
Vision Statement
The true keys to recovery come only through a personal relationship with Christ. CROSS Recovery will never water down the one and only true God. It is through God that we learn to overcome our burdens.
Seven Keys to Success and Significance
The curriculum will enable Christ to deliver you from addictions and compulsive and dysfunctional behaviors, creating peace and joy. The result is a stronger personal relationship with God and others. As you progress with the direction of a mentor through The Keys, you will discover that Jesus Christ is your personal, loving and forgiving Savior.
Process Groups
CROSS Recovery provides a safe place to share your hurts, pains, heartaches, experiences, and hopes with others who are going through the recovery process. This Process Group will run year-round. Each group is facilitated by a group leader who has experienced similar hurts, trials, and tribulations in life. The group will also give you the opportunity to find a mentor who will guide you through The Seven Keys to Recovery.
